Don’t worry – you can use the reset button on the back of the Dovado UMR to revert all settings back to their defaults. Gently depress the reset button for 8 seconds (as described in the manual excerpt below) by inserting a suitable implement such as a pencil. You can then connect to http://192.168.0.1 using the default username and password and run the Configuration Wizard again.
The firmware version on the Dovado UMR remains unaffected by the reset.

Follow the above instructions to press in the reset button on the back of the UMR while it is switched on. Hold it in for about 8 seconds until you see the lights on the front start to flash.

Hi RedMan – on the 3GN, the procedure to reset is exactly the same as for the UMR, except that reset button is raised above the surface on the back panel and does not need any special implement to press and hold it. Default username and password are the same: admin & password
I don’t have an admin & password or an wep/wpa key – so how do i get in contact with the router from my computer and playstation? I’ve tried holding down the reset button for 8 secs, but I still can’t get access to the router without an wep/wpa key??
Okay – if the reset succeeded, the router should now be broadcasting its wireless network as DOVADO and it will be unsecured so you can connect from any wireless client browser. Proceed with configuration using the browser address http://192.168.0.1 – the login will be admin & password.
